RIP Ma’am

For so many of us, the Queen remained a constant. A reliable face in an ever-changing world. Her global contributions are immeasurable, unmatched, one not easily duplicated. On the 8th of September, the world went silent. Although expected, the timing felt so wrong. With a stellar work ethic, at age 96, she has carried out one last duty of welcoming the 15th Prime Minister of her reign spanning 70 years. She has left an indelible impression upon the minds of today’s youth, showing service right to the very end. No one anticipated the sad news that would follow 48 hours later, which will forever ask, “where were you when the Queen passed”? Already fondly missed, remembered, and admired as a woman of great strength, dignity, and courage unbounded. Thank you for the many decades of service to your country, the commonwealth, and others within the realm. Long live your spirit!

Below are a few of my favorite moments!

As a Bond lover, I could not pass on the opportunity to share her cameo with Daniel Craig as he escorted her to the Olympics.

Another favorite was, of course, Paddington Bear at her recent platinum jubilee. All the pomp and circumstance of Coronation and Wedding day. Last but not least, HRH Beatrice’s wedding day interpretation of the wearing a dress once worn by the Queen and the loan of her diamond tiara.
